Recognize Love of ALL Forms.

Man v. Myth

Ernesto 'Che' Guevara

The month of march will be devoted
to learning all about this man.

As a new thing for me, I will be learning about
a new political/historical figure each month.
The person has to be controversial.
The person has to be revolutionary.
The person has to be still relevant to today.

I charge you to join me.

I'm Queer.

This past weekend was spent at the UCLGBTQIA Conference.
This year it was hosted at UC Santa Barbara.
All I can say is WOW.
So much fun.

As of now, I will no longer identify as Gay...
but rather... Queer.

When one says they are LGBT,
soo many preconceptions
and expectations are tacked on.

By saying that I am simply
Queer
I add some ambiguity to myself
and allow my personality
to be what defines me...
and not my orientation.

happy trails.

S-T-Y-L-E

The Jonas Brothers...

They are often OVER styled...
but I think they have fun with clothing.

These boys are definitely trendsetters.

Dakota Fanning.

She's not the little girl anymore
that we all remember her to be.

She's almost 15, and she is starting
to make waves as a fashionista.

I'd suggest keeping her on
your style radar.

Shia Labeouf.

No words.

I just love his style.

He cleans up well too;
if need be.

Taylor Momsen.

She is a fashion chameleon.
I chalk it up to her alter-ego Jenny Humphrey.

She can be chic.
She can be trendy.
She can be backstage concert cool.
She can do it all.

Her style is truly her own.

Zac Efron.

I would LOVE to raid his closet.

The guy knows how to throw things together.

If only
he would drop the beard [i.e. Vanessa Hudgens].

Lourdes Leon.

The Daughter of Material Girl Madonna;
she has made a name for herself
for her style experimentation.

This girl is a hit 90% of the time
when she is seen in the streets.

Check it...
the girl is only 12 years old.

O_O

Zoe Kravitz.

When you have parents as unique as
Lenny Kravitz & Lisa Bonet...
your closet is bound to reflect that.

I know you all remember the outrageous
style that Denise Huxtable sported in the 80s.
Well fast-forward 20 years.

Zoe Kravitz is a name
you'll want to know...
she's a hit.

Back Up. Back Off.

There comes a time, when you must evaluate your life, your entire life...
Your friends, your family, your everything...
and you must decide, who belongs, and who belongs on the other side of the velvet rope.

This is me making the executive decision to now give you your walking papers...
2009 was supposed to be either just as good, or better than 2008...
and from the way things have been going so far, it's not living up to that challenge.

So this is my declaration of independence...
from the drama you bring, and the exploitation of my insecurities.

I say this now, and may it resonate in your thoughts...
Never again, will I allow myself to feel sorry for my feelings...
Never again, will I have my kindness taken advantage of...
Never again, will I allow someone else to hold me back from my full potential...
because I feel that I need to spare their feelings.
Never Again.

I'm planning to make waves...
I just need to... Focus.
